Our events hall

In order to support the sustainability of the Hercules project and to cover running costs of the Day Center which sponsors are generally reluctant to cover (emergencies, center maintenance) we developed an income generating activity: an events hall we rent for corporate events (team buildings, business meetings, seminars etc) and for private events in the local community (weddings).

The events hall can host up to 100 people (sitting) and has a surface of 280 mp.

The Hercules hall was inaugurated in 2009 in the presence of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Margarita of Romania and Mrs. Libby Gitenstein, wife of the US Ambassador at that time. Funds for the building were provided by The Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation through its subsidiary in Switzerland (EUR 90,000). Akzo Nobel, Romstal, Holdchim Cement sponsored part of the materials. In 2011 – 2012, with financial support from the NESsT Foundation ($20,000), the Events Hall was furnished, equipped with air conditioning and a modern kitchen.
